Ipswich Sports Centre wanted to increase their renewable energy generation, so opened up a tender process for firms in Suffolk to quote for their next phase of solar energy generation work. Lanman Solar won the contract and after a number of surveys and meetings with the club to discuss their current energy usage and their plans for the future - put together a plan to take them to the next level of renewable power generation.
Our solution for the project resulted in us putting over 200 panels on their various rooftops over the following weeks, creating a solar panel array capable of producing over 89 KWp!
Jon Tuppen, the Ipswich Sports Club Company Secretary, was kind enough to say a few words about the project, so click on the video to see what he thought about his experience dealing with Lanman Solar.
This project went so well that, at the time of writing, we are in discussion to add more panels and battery storage to the club's system, so watch this space!
