This client got in touch with Lanman as they had just moved in to the property with their two young children and an electric vehicle and are planning on staying here for the long term - so wanted a clean, green long term energy solution for their home.
Following an initial meeting with the family and a survey, Lanman confirmed that they could put 13 x 400 watt panels on the house producing 5.2 KWp and which would pretty much cover their energy usage in it's entirety, from keeping the family powered all week long and still being able to charge up their electric vehicle whenever they needed it.
We also added 6 batteries giving 23 kWh of storage to store any excess energy produced during the day - but also to make the best use of the cheap night time energy available too - so they could still be financially better off, even on a cloudy day!
They were delighted with their solar panel installation and as things stand are considering having additional panels added to their outdoor office once it's finished being built!
